About Me

Hi I am Barbara Jones.

I am a Landscape Photographer based in the North West of ScotlandIt's wild here most of the time which suits me fine. I don't like bland weather. I enjoy the fury of a savage storm and a walk in the wilderness with my camera and essential companion, my Dog Jock. Occasionally it can be so calm and tranquil you might think this place is Nirvana. A false sense of security until the next gale blows in, another deluge starts and torrents of water hurtle down the hillsides. All Four Seasons in one day is normal here !Then a glimmer of light appears giving hope, and Magic happens. I attempt to capture those fleeting moments of light. Sometimes it is a long wait. No problem in such beautiful surroundings while the Sun and Clouds play Hide and Seek.

I do not use AI in the creation of my images.
