The Isle of Lewis is the most Northerly of the Outer Hebrides, or Western Isles as they are also called. A rugged coastline battered by the Atlantic Sea, where you will find some of the most stunning Beaches anywhere. Wild Weather will often be encountered, which is what makes Lewis so unforgettable, if you have a soul that loves wild places far from the crowd. The Moorland should not be missed, stop and listen to the haunting calls of the many Birds that frequent the remote Lochs. Never forgotten ! There are many Historical Sites to visit also, Callanish Stone Circle being the most famous.
