Applecross NC500

Scenic Landscapes of the Applecross area and Peninsula, including Shieldaig, now part of the NC500 route. Encompassing the infamous Bealach na Ba, ( pass of the cattle ) which is the highest mountain road pass in Scotland. Single track with hairpin bends and not for the faint of heart or large Motorhomes and Caravans. Parking in passing places is not allowed. The area traverses moorland and coastline along a long single track road where there are more sheep than humans.
